Lucille "Lucy" Dallas

Lucille "Lucy" Dallas, age 92 of Anna, died at 2:49 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 in the Union County Long Term Care in Anna. She was born September 28, 1925 in Union County, the daughter of Ford L. and Lura (Hood) Cox. She married Carl E. Dallas on November 20, 1943 in Cape Girardeau, MO. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2006. Lucy is survived by her daughter-in-law, JoAn Dallas of Jonesboro; granddaughter, Kelly (Brandon) Keller of Jonesboro; grandsons, Bryan (Tiffany) Dallas of DeKalb, Patrick (Beth) Dallas of Anna and Joel (Marie) Dallas of Jonesboro; great grandchildren, AnnaLee, Alexandria and Dallas Keller, Brooklyne, Colton, Tilman, Luke, J.J., Carson, Cooper and Lily Dallas; son, Richard (Janet) Dallas of Watkinsville, GA; granddaughter, Amy (Keith) Faulk of Watkinsville, GA; great granddaughter, Alexis Faulk; brother in law, Floyd (Edna) Dallas of Anna; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl E. Dallas; sisters, Afton Manus, Virgie Dillow, Jean Brown, infant sister, Ilene Cox; son, Ronald Dallas, infant granddaughter, Kerry Dallas; brother and sister in laws. Lucy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro and a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary. Lucy was owner and operator of the Farm Fresh Store in Anna for many years. Funeral services for Lucille "Lucy" Dallas will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with ministers R.W. & Bryan McAlister officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions are to be made to the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 VFW Roof Fund or Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
