Louise Westbrooks

Mrs. Louise Westbrooks, age 87 of Anna, died at 12:25 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 in the Union County Hospital Long Term Care in Anna. She was born June 17, 1930 in Anna, the daughter of Hugh S. and Barbara Laura Ann (Stegle) Treece. She married Francis Marion Westbrooks Jr. on November 29, 1947 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden. Louise is survived by her loving husband of seventy years, Francis Westbrooks of Anna; two sons, Hugh M. (Elaine) Westbrooks of Greenville, and Mark (Mara) Westbrooks of Eldorado; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; former daughter in law, Mary Ann (Bill) Bowen of Jonesboro; many nieces and nephews, and a special thank you to Lydia (Jeff) Williams; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Stephen Westbrooks; granddaughter, Elizabeth Westbrooks, and sister, Margaret Ann Treece. Louise was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Anna for many years. Her life was always her children, and she will be dearly missed. She always enjoyed working on the family farm. Funeral mass for Louise Westbrooks will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna with Father Federico Higuera officiating. Interment will be in the Casper Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna.
