Mrs. Louise B. Dillow, age 93 of Anna, died at 11:26 a.m. Sunday, May 11, 2014 in the Hidden Lake Care Center in St. Louis, MO. She was born November 16, 1920 in Jonesboro, the daughter of Guy and Hulda Reischauer Bowen. She married Joseph Burns Dillow on November 7, 1941 in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on April 28, 1989. Louise is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Paul) Edmiston of Florissant, MO; son, Richard (Rosa) Dillowof Sugarland, TX; two grandchildren, Cathleen (Stephen) Craig of Wilmington, IL, Michael (Colleen) Edmiston of Manchester, MO; three great grandchildren, Caeleigh, Sean and Ryan Edmiston; one sister, Frances Lentz of Bradley; brother in law, Kenneth Kohler of Anna; sister in law, Mary Sue Treece of Cobden; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Dillow; two brothers, Raymond and Bill Bowen; and two sisters, Dorothy Kohler and Betty Ann Mowery. Louise was a longtime member of the Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna where she taught Sunday school, and vacation bible school. She worked at both Herb Coles Market and Hase Pharmacy. She retired from Hase Pharmacy in 1995 after twenty eight years of service as a clerk. Louise was a talented seamstress and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She was a member of the Union County Hospital Senior Circle and Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. in Anna. She participated in the Komen Race for the Cure in St. Louis and the Relay for Life in Anna. She loved her Lord and her family and will be warmly remembered by all who knew her. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 in the Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna with Pastor Kathy Montira officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna and at the Church.
