LORENE JENKINSLorene Jenkins, age 95 of Anna, died Thursday, January 3, 2019 in the Union County Hospital Long Term Care in Anna. She was born June 24, 1923 in Anna, the daughter of Tullie and Beulah (Lamkin) Dillow. She married Vernon Jenkins December 23, 1962. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1966.Lorene is survived by many nephews and nieces; other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon Jenkins; and six sisters, Maude Vidal, Esther Thorene, Lillian Edgar, Virginia Warnell, Isabel Lence and Imogene Kneip.Lorene was a member of the First Christian Church in Anna. She worked at Florshiem Shoe Factory in Anna until her retirement. She dearly loved spending time with her family.Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Anna Cemetery with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Family and friends attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
