Lonnie Hall

Lonnie Hall, age 77 of Murphysboro, died Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. He was born on January 10, 1947 in Springfield, TN, the son of Willie Earl and Eleanor (Bilyeu) Hall. He married Victoria Roxanne Schuyler on March 10, 1972. She preceded him in death on January 9, 2001.

Lonnie is survived by his children, Thomas Hall of Austin, TX, Vanessa (Kevin) Holloway of Murphysboro and Lonnie (Jessica) Hall of Carbondale; brother, Arthur Hall of Rockford; sisters, Sheila O'Rourke of Chicago and Audrey Gallegos of Crystal Lake; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and twin sister, Bonnie Remillard.

Lonnie served his country in the United States Army. He was very fond of his dogs but most of all, he loved his family. He will be greatly missed.

A celebration of the life of Lonnie Hall will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Christ Community Church, 473 W Harrison Road, Murphysboro, IL 62966 with Pastor Rick McNeely officiating. Private graveside services and interment were held at the Cobden Cemetery. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
