Lois V. Brasel

Mrs. Lois V. Brasel, age 74 of Anna, died at 12:33 P.M. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born June 18, 1936 in Saratoga, the daughter of Louie and Gladys Haire Smith. She married Ray Brasel on January 1, 1954 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Cobden. Lois is survived by her husband Ray of Anna; one son, Richard Brasel of Cobden; one daughter, Marilyn (Jerry) Eiceman of Marion; two grandchildren, Jason Eiceman and friend Jami McNeill, Ashleigh (Richard) Ozment; one great-gradchild, Marleigh Dianne Ozment; two sisters, Jeanette (Ed) Fuller of Anna, Nancy (Don) Evans of Marion; two Brothers, Ralph Smith of Rockport, Robert (Nancy) Smith of Jonesboro; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Rosella Brooks and Monica Pind; and one brother, Louie Dean Smith.Lois was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro. She worked as a hairdresser for approximately forty years, for many of those years she owned and operated her own shop.Funeral services for Mrs. Lois V. Brasel, will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
