Lisa R. Baker

     Lisa R. Baker, age 59 of Anna, passed peacefully, Thursday, March 26, 2026 at her home. She was born, October 5, 1966, in Champaign, the daughter of Douglas D. and Carolyn Kay (Burlison) Sturgeon. She married Mike Baker on November 6, 1999, in Anna.

     Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Mike Baker; children, Brandon Howell (Nikole Marsh), Cody Campbell, Dalton (Micha) Baker, and Lindsey Campbell; grandchildren, Jace, Colson, Grayson Campbell and Violet Grace Howell; father, Douglas D. Sturgeon; mother, Carolyn Kay Hansell; brother, Jeff Sturgeon; mother-in-law, Carole Anne Baker; nieces and nephews, Kennedy Terbrak, Dylan Sturgeon, Aaron (Janna) and Rachel Keistler; great niece and nephews, Sutton Sturgeon, Jayleigh and Beau Terbrak; uncle, Jim Keistler; aunt, Barbara Grace; precious fur babies, Harley, Daisy Mae, Coco and Luna; other extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jason Sturgeon; father-in-law, (CSM) Larry Joe Baker; sister-in-law, Jennifer Anne Baker; brother-in-law, David Baker; uncle, Chuck Grace; and aunt, Paula Keistler.

     Lisa loved riding motorcycles with her husband, Mike and son, Brandon. She enjoyed the wind in her face and the adventures they would have. She was always up for a good concert or spending time with her grandchildren. Lisa was an animal lover and found peace tending to her plants and flowers. Lisa will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.

     Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Dylan Sturgeon officiating. Visitation will be after 12:00 noon and until the service at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are preferred to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the charity of your choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
