Linda Doughty Myers

Mrs. Linda Doughty Myers, 46, of rural Cobden, died at 2:00 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2011 at her home near Cobden. She was born July 23, 1965 in Anna, the daughter of Billy Joe and Betty Lou Sivia Doughty. She married Donald Myers, Jr. on January 15, 2011 in Alto Pass. Linda is survived by her husband Donald of rural Cobden; 2 step-children, Steven Myers of Cobden and Brian Myers of Cobden; her mother, Betty Doughty of Jonesboro; 2 brothers, Louie (Yolanda) Doughty of Olive Branch and Elmer Paul Doughty of Carbondale; 1 sister, Mamie Lou Doughty of Anna; her father-in-law, Donald "Sonny" Myers, Sr. of Alto Pass; aunts; uncles; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father. Linda recently attended Gospel Kingdom Church near Jonesboro. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Alto Pass. Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Doughty Myers will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Alto Pass with Rev. Sam White and Rev. Bon Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass and after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Alto Pass or Gospel Kingdom Church.
