Linda Sue Mcgee

Linda Sue McGee, age 79 of Cobden, died Monday, June 14, 2021 at her home. She was born January 26, 1942 in Grand Tower, the daughter of James Hannibal and Alice Addie (Hatley) Aldridge. Linda enjoyed reading, gardening and fishing. She was an amazing cook and baker. She worked and retired from the accounting department of GTE. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her partner, Louis "Jerry" Basler of Cobden; children, Monte Bridges of Cobden, Dwyane Bridges, Jacquelyn Wray of Mechanicsville, VA, Michael Bridges of Cobden, and Allison Beach of Rock Port, TX; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Juanita Land of Jonesboro; brothers, Jim Aldridge of Anderson, S.C. and Robert Aldridge of St. Charles, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, and a brother. There are no services scheduled at this time.
