Linda Kay Hopp

Mrs. Linda Kay Hopp, age 65 of Paducah, KY., formerly of Anna, died at 9:07 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at her home in Paducah, KY. She was born May 7, 1948 in Cairo, the daughter of Lloyd and Edna Landis Vines. She married Gordon A. Hopp on May 6, 1967 at the Kornthal Church in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2013. Linda is survived by her daughter, Chelle (Larry) Telfair; one son, Matthew Hopp and fiance, Astacia Moses all of Paducah, KY.; three grandchildren, Nathan Bryan Telfair, Kaylyn Marie Gayle Telfair, and Logan Allen Hopp; brothers and sisters, Donald (Bonnie) Vines of Cobden, Virginia Adams of Anna, Lloyd (Cindy) Vines of Anna, Jim (Shirley) Vines of Anna, and Joyce (Barney) Barnhart; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon A. Hopp and one son, Bryan A. Hopp. Linda was a faithful and loving caregiver to her family, and others. She devoted many years volunteering her time at Bethany Village in Anna. Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Kay Hopp will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Tony Foeller officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
