Linda Kay Darling

Mrs. Linda Kay Darling, age 71 of Anna, died at 9:43 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016 at her home. She was born July 4, 1944, in Anna, the daughter of Mack H. and Alice L. (Lence) Martin. She married Charles David Darling on August 18, 1964 in Anna. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2006. Linda Kay is survived by her two sons, Charles Bradley (Raeleane) Darling of Anna, Donald Myron Darling of Salt Lake City, Utah; one daughter, Rhonda Kay (Daniel) Medlin of Erie, PA; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles David Darling; one brother, Donald Martin; and one sister, Deloris Martin. Linda Kay was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Cobden for many years. She loved to play games; travel; and spend time with her family. Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Kay Darling will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Cobden with Rev. Doug Bridgeman officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Cobden. In lieu of flowers, the family ask memorial contributions be made to the Church. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna and at the church.
