Linda Louise Craig

Mrs. Linda Louise Craig, age 71 of Jonesboro, died at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at her home in Jonesboro. She was born November 18, 1942 in Alto Pass, the daughter of Floyd Lewis and Opal Arcille Allen Swink. She married James Wilbourn Craig Sr. on October 3, 1959 in McClure. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1999. Linda is survived by her three children, David Craig, Sheila (Burney) Sutton and James Wilbourn Craig Jr.; eight grandchildren, Brandon Craig, James Craig, Amber Guest, Dustin Craig, Derrick McReynolds, David Craig Jr., David Craig, and Tyler Sutton; fifteen great grandchildren, Chasaty, Brandon, Ashley, Lucas, Dalton, Alyssa, Kaylie, Travis, Emma, David, Bryson, Kisdan, Kaiden, Damen and Alana; one aunt, Vivian Smith; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Wilbourn Craig Sr; two daughters, Lori Ann McReynolds and Debbie Craig; one brother, Floyd "Bud" Swink and one sister, Georgie Swink. Linda retired from the Florsheim Shoe Factory in Anna; she later worked as a home health caretaker. She loved to care for others; Linda will be warmly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Louise Craig will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Ron Thorn officiating. Cremation will follow. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
