Lillian M. Pearson

Ms. Lillian M. Pearson, age 62, of Jonesboro, died at 5:10 P.M. Thursday August 12, 2010 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born March 19, 1948 in Cobden, the daughter of Lee and Roxie Lillian Newberry Pearson.Lillian is survived by one son, Heath (Leslie) Kinder of Jonesboro; one daughter, Kristin Kinder of Jonesboro; three brothers, Donald (Goldie) Pearson of Cambria, Kenneth Pearson of Cobden, Richard (Janice) Pearson of Carbondale; two sisters, Faye Marks of Cobden and Anita Hurst of Alto Pass; four grandchildren, Heath Parker and Daniel Bane Kinder, Roxie True Grifffin, and Samuel Joseph Hileman; nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Eugene, Douglas, and Herbert Pearson; and one sister, Kay Ellen Robinson.Lillian was a member of the Water Valley Christian Church for many years. She was passionate about horseback riding and was a member of the Saddle Club.Funeral Services for Ms. Lillian M. Pearson will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday August 17, 2010 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Rev. Donald Pearson officiating. Interment will be in the Rowan cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday August 16 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Memorials may be made to Illinois Veterans Home Activity Fund.
