Letha Mae Arnold, age 80 of Anna, died Friday, September 17, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born May 4, 1941 in Union County, the daughter of William Lester "Buck" and Ethel Rosetta "Zoie" (Wright) Arnold. She married Clifton Eugene Moreland on March 9, 1959. Letha is survived by her two sons Bruce and Brian Moreland both of Jonesboro; two daughters, Terri (Tom) Pinnick of Westfield, IN, Diane (Darryl) Harvel of Jonesboro; ten grandchildren, Clint, Dustin Moreland, Cassandra Cunningham, Charlotte Pilate, Cole Moreland, Bruce Moreland Jr., Crystal Duncan, Jessica Dean, Derek Harvel, Lindsay Pinnick; great-grandchildren, Dillon Moreland, Brent Duncan, Payton and Matthew Pilate, Aria, Brigham, and Adaley Dean; niece, Maxine (Fred) Pender of Jonesboro; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Eugene Moreland; step-mother, Floy Edith (Brown) Arnold; sisters, Carol M. (Arnold) Basler, Gladys A. (Arnold) Gibbs, Reba Maxine Arnold; brothers, Everett Lee Arnold and William Eric Arnold; former husband, Clifton Moreland; and special friend, Patrick McCoy. Letha was a member of the Anna Heights Baptist Church for many years. She loved growing flowers, bird watching and spending time with her family. Letha will always be remembered for her wonderful cooking. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Scott Harner officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Those attending will be required to wear a mask or face covering.
