Leroy "Roy" Keith

Leroy "Roy" Keith, age 75 of Alto Pass, died Saturday, July 20, 2019 in his home. He was born February 7, 1944 in Anna, the son of Leroy G. and Helen Marie (Ramsey) Keith II. He married Mollie (Moore) July 6, 1968 in Anna and together they shared 51 years of marriage. Leroy was a farmer and worked as a rural mail carrier. He was a member of the Cobden Masonic Lodge #466 and the Congregational Christian Church in Alto Pass. His family says he very much enjoyed his coffee and RC Cola. He proudly serviced in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his loving wife, Mollie Keith of Alto Pass; three children, Laurie Heather (Donnie) Hindman, Scott (Paula Sue) Keith and Monica (Luke) Williams all of Alto Pass; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Hindman, Jordyn Keith, and Joseph Hindman. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass with Rev. Davy Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alto Pass Cemetery Care Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Graveside Military Rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard Military Honors team of Marion.
