Leota Loveless, born June 28, 1934, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She lived a life marked by faith, generosity, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Leota was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Hollis Abbott; brothers Herman, Hollis (Bud) Paul Abbott: her first husband, Jimmy Lee Roach; her second husband, MacArthur Loveless; her sons, Kevin Roach and Jimmie Roach; and her son-in-law, Marshall Loveless. Leota is survived by her children, Gary Roach (Dawn), Ranee Roach, Scott Roach, Rita Riccobono (Thomas), Robert Loveless (Tanya), and Kevin Loveless (LaShonna) She was a proud grandmother to Jeremy (Nicole) Roach; Josh (Gina) Roach; Sarah (Aaron) Wright: Jimmie Roach (Joanne); and Corinne Roach. Johnny, Robert and Sandy Roach; Aaron and Alyssa Loveless; Erica (Josh) Wyatt; Taylor (Austin) Pender; Dakota Markham; Zachary, Gabriel and Hannah Loveless; John; Lily Robinson. Her treasured great-grandchildren include Molly, Maggie, Olivia Nolan, Maddox, Kenneth, Tristan, and Angelina, Rowan, Nick, Savannah, Robert, Gavyn, Kailyn, Brandon, Jordan, Roberto, Carson, Grayson, Gavin, Harper, Finley, Jackson, with many other beloved family members and friends.
Leota was a true prayer warrior whose faith in Jesus Christ guided every aspect of her life. She maintained a personal relationship with her Savior for many years, and her love for the Lord was evident to everyone who knew her. Whether through her words of encouragement, her prayers, or her daily conversations, she continually shared God's love with others.
She enjoyed crocheting and found great joy in giving to those around her. Over the years, she lovingly crocheted blankets, sweaters and hundreds of hats, scarves, teacups and small cell phone holders for residents of area nursing homes and care facilities, including Chamness Care and MAP. Her acts of kindness brought comfort and smiles to countless people.
Leota worked throughout her life as a waitress and was also employed at JoAnn Laundry and Head Start in Anna. She was known for her strong work ethic, caring heart, and willingness to help anyone in need. Above all else, Leota cherished her family. She celebrated their accomplishments, prayed for them faithfully, and loved them unconditionally. Her legacy of faith, service, generosity, and love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
