Leoda Watkins

Leoda Watkins, age 95 of Ware, died at 4:25 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at Integrity Healthcare of Anna. She was born March 14, 1923 in McClure the daughter James Aud and Ola May (Clever) Rogers. She married Troy James Watkins on November 21, 1942 in Cape Girardeau, MO. He preceded her in death. Leoda is survived by her children, Donna (Kenneth) Brown of Clinton, TN, Bob Watkins of Ware, Linda Morgan of Anna and David Watkins of Anna; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; former daughters in law, Carol & Tina; sisters, Doris Jobe of Virginia Beach, VA and Vivian Moss of Anna. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Troy James Watkins; son, Mike Watkins. Leoda was a member of the Ware United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services for Leoda Watkins will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Danny Jones & Rev. Randy Morgan officiating. Interment will be in the Lindsey Cemetery in McClure. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Lindsey Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
