Lenora L Turner

Mrs. Lenora L. Turner, age 87 of East Cape, Illinois, formerly of Anna, died at 9:36 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at her home. She was born October 3, 1928 in Dongola, the daughter of Donald and Mary Wagner Coleman. She married James H. Turner on August 17, 1946 in Anna. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1994. Lenora is survived by her children, David Coleman of Fort Scott, K.S., Leona (Jimmy) Richardson of McClure, Judy (Mike) Ogden of Sikeston, MO, Deborah (Carl) Elliott of McClure, and Roger (Debbie) Turner of Cobden; twenty-five grandchildren; forty-five great-grandchildren; thirty-three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Ellen Turner of Anna; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James H. Turner; one son; two daughters; one grandson; one granddaughter; one step great-grandson; two brothers; and four sisters. Lenora was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church for many years. Funeral services for Mrs. Lenora L. Turner will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. LaRue Parr officiating. Interment will be in the Friendship Cemetery in Dongola. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Big Creek Baptist Church.
