Lena "Jane" Emery

Mrs. Lena "Jane" Emery, age 93 of Indianapolis, passed away on April 23, 2015. She was born March 1, 1922 in Cobden, the daughter of Herman and Ruth Rose Brown. She married Gene Emery on June 25, 1946 in Crown Point, IN. He preceded her in death in 1985. Jane is survived by her daughter, Donna (Jeff) Cover; grandchildren, Gina (Court) Maple, Travis (Megan) Cover; great-grandchildren, Emma Maple, Olivia Maple, Joshua Cover, Samuel Cover; sisters, Gerry Winstead, Margaret Santos, and Betty Hutton; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Gene Emery and one son, Darrell Emery. Jane was a member of the University Baptist Church in Carbondale. Jane worked for Western Union in the 1940's and from 1960's to 1970's at Sears in Carbondale. She later worked for the 1st National Bank in Carbondale from 1980's to 1990's. Funeral services for Mrs. Lena "Jane" Emery will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. John Annable officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
