Lawanda Lyerla

LaWanda Lyerla, 85 of Alto Pass, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at her home.She was born on March 2, 1935 in Anna, Illinois to Claude and Mary (Proctor) Hartline. She married Harold Lyerla on December 4, 1954 and have remained at each other's side for the last 65 years.She is survived by her husband Harold of Alto Pass; 4 sons, Rob Lyerla of Michigan; Kelly (Terri) Lyerla of Waterloo, Illinois; Keith (Gail) Lyerla of Columbia, Illinois and Kip (Terra) Lyerla of Alto Pass; 8 grandchildren, Heather Haare, Shannon, Eli, Jordan, Easton, Gracey, Lauren and Mason Lyerla; 2 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Emil Hartline.LaWanda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Alto Pass.Private graveside services will take place at the Alto Pass Cemetery with Pastor Carroll Toler officiating. Interment will follow.LaWanda would like to share the comforting words of her favorite verse, Second Timothy, chapter 1, verse 7; "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass is in charge of arrangements.
