Larry G Hall Sr.

Larry G. Hall Sr., age 76 of Anna, died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in Union county Hospital. He was born November 18, 1942 in Aurora, the son of Paul Eugene and Nellie Marie (Lewis) Hall. He married Cynthia Miller on June 6, 1964 in Anna. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Hall of Anna; daughters, Jeanie (Bob) Wright of Anna and Barbara (Phillip) Hopper of Waxhaw, NC; son, Larry Hall Jr. of Plant City, FL; grandchildren, Diana Wright (Blake LeFevre), Aaron (Sarah) Wright, Joshua Hopper, Daniel (Hannah) Hopper, Rebecca Hopper, Rachel Hopper, Alexander Hall, Matthew Hall; great-grandchildren, Maxwell Adams and Avery Adams; sister, Kathy (Brent) Hileman of Jonesboro; sister-in-law, Jerrine Hall of Carmi, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Amy Wright; brother, David Hall. Larry proudly served his country in the Unites States Army during the Vietnam war. Larry was a member of the Anna Heights Baptist Church and enjoyed serving others. He and Cynthia worked as missionaries for many years serving their Lord Jesus Christ. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery with Pastor Darryl Williams officiating. Graveside Military Rights will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the VFW in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard Funeral Honor Team of Marion. Interment will immediately follow in the Ebenezer Hall cemetery. Everyone is asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Preborn Ministries. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
