Larry Wayne Dodson

Larry W. Dodson, age 57 of Anna, died Wednesday, October 9, 2019 in Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born February 17, 1962 in St. Louis, Mo, the son of Arthur John "Johnny" and Shirley Fay (Calvert) Dodson. He married Kathy Chapman and she preceded him in death. Larry is survived by his two sons, Michael (Krista) Dodson of LaVergne, TN, Jimmie (Ashley) Dodson and Pam of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Aly Dodson, Sam Dodson, Dylan Wayne Earl Dodson, Kaitlyn Dodson, Abi Dodson, Brayden Dodson, Cameron Dodson; siblings, Sandra Moore of Anna, Sharon Barringer of Anna, Vicki (Ritchy) Tweedy of Wolf Lake; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathy Dodson; and son, Brandon Wayne Dodson. Larry was an over the road truck driver for over 25 years. He loved to travel, ride motorcycles; and play the guitar. He loved his children and grandchildren and will be missed by all his family. A celebration of life will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Connect Point Church in Anna. Family and friends are welcome.
