Ladonna Rae (Stoner) Carter

LaDonna Rae Carter, age 92 of Jonesboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 19, 2023. She was born June 20, 1930, in Ullin, the daughter of Lena Crippen. She married George "Buster" Carter on October 7, 1947 in Piggott, AR. He preceded her in death September 4, 1999.

LaDonna is survived by her four sons, Danny R. (Mary R.) Carter of Karnak, Larry W. (Lavera I.) Carter of Anna, Billy R. (Luci E.) Carter of Jonesboro, David C. (Suzanne) Carter of Jonesboro; daughter, Cindi A. (Earl L.) Bond of Anna; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her infant son; husband, George "Buster" Carter; mother, Lena Crippen Palmer; and brother, Jerry Stoner.

LaDonna was a member of the Jonesboro Pentecostal Church. She and Buster lived and raised their family in the Tamms and Elco area for many years. She loved playing the piano and singing and was known for her wonderful cooking and baking. LaDonna cherished her time caring for all her grandchildren and will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Paul Mayberry officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may visit after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
