Kevin E. "Cookie" Cook

Kevin E. "Cookie" Cook, age 55 of Anna, died at 2:46 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017 in the Union County Hospital. He was born on May 6, 1962 in Union County, the son of Johnnie Burl and Janice Ganell (Holderfield) Cook. Kevin owned and operated his towing service for many years. Kevin dearly loved spending time with his grandchildren and was always helping others when they were in need. Kevin is survived by his father, Johnnie Burl Cook of Jonesboro; daughter, Ashley Cook of Anna; grandchildren, Braxton Kameron Ray Kunpp, Jackylnn Mae Grace Kennedy; sister, Cheryl (Keith) Huddle of Kissimmee, FL, brother, Danny (Tancy) Cook of Anna, sister, Sarah Lee (Anthony) Burnett of Carbondale; special friend, Pam Moss of Murphysboro; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Ganell Cook and daughter, Kimmy Jo Cook. Funeral services for Kevin E. "Cookie" Cook will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home of Anna. Interment will be in the Limestone Cemetery in Cobden. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
