Kenneth Gene Roach

     Kenneth Gene Roach, age 82 of Jonesboro, passed away, Tuesday, February 17, 2026. He was born January 7, 1944 in Anna, the son of Roy and Mary Belle (Coats) Roach. He married the love of his life, Linda Lou Reynolds on July 22, 1961 in Cape Girardeau, MO. She preceded him in death on May 12, 2021.

     Kenny is survived by his three loving daughters, Marsha (Rich) Griffin of Jonesboro, Becky (Rob) Heuring of Anna and Nancy (Doug) Cerney of Anna; grandchildren, Brandy (Jeff) Gipson, Mindy (Chris) Keller, Brandon (Jamie) Griffin, Caleb (Mollie) Cerney, Caden Cerney, Sean (Emily) Heuring, Hannah Heuring and Megan (Dakota) Penrod; great-grandchildren, Lauren Gipson, Blake Williams, Allison Gipson, Jax Olandes, Jeffrey, Katelyn and Brooklyn Gipson, Brinley Griffin, Laylah Raines, Kaycie, Clayton and Logan Penrod, Everly and Aurora Heuring, and Jaxon Morrison, Evan, Benjamin, Hayden and Morgan Keller; brother, Jack Roach; numerous nieces, nephews; other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob, Bill, Jim, Mike and John Roach; and sister, Mary Lou Bridges.

     Kenny was a member of New Beginnings Church for many years. He served as the Secretary Treasurer of the Southern and Central Laborers District Council. He served as the Laborers Local 1330 Business Agent in Anna for many years. Kenny was a champion for the cause of labor; and was always fighting for working women and men. He cherished all his grandchildren; they were his pride and joy. He enjoyed taking them hunting and fishing. He loved his little dog, Gunnar who was his faithful companion.

     Funeral services for Kenneth Gene Roach will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Lonnie Lewis and Rev. Bon Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
