Mr. Kendall F. Guthrie, age 73 of Cobden, died at 1:40 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 in the Anna Rehab and Nursing Center. He was born February 9, 1942 in Alto Pass, the son of Vero Roy and Elva E. Hale Guthrie. Kendall is survived by his three sons, Steven Guthrie of Alabama, Timothy Guthrie of Cobden, and Scott Guthrie of Lick Creek; two grandchildren, Megan and Devyn Guthrie; one great grandchild, Chloe Guthrie; four sisters, Yvonne Wagner of Cape Girardeau, MO, June Guthrie of Metropolis, Ellen Belt of Harrisburg, Angela (Larry) Thorn of Anna; two brothers, Lendall (Connie) Guthrie of Jackson, MO and Charles Guthrie of Rockford, ND; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Vero Roy Guthrie; mother, Elva E. Wolfe; and one sister, Vivian Guthrie. Kendall served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. Memorial services for Mr. Kendall F. Guthrie will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
