Keith Duwayne Glasco

Mr. Keith D. Glasco Sr., age 79 of Cobden passed away at 11:13 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born August 8, 1937 in Wolf Lake, the son of Ernest and Ada (Godwin) Glasco. He married Barbara I. Clemons on March 16, 1957 in Ashland, IL. Keith is survived by his loving wife of fifty nine years and eleven months, Barbara Glasco of Cobden; two sons DuWayne (Vickie) Glasco of Cobden and Tim (Glenda) Glasco of Anna; grandsons, Greg Glasco of Cobden, Mark (Amy) Glasco of Jonesboro; granddaughters, Amanda Glasco and Andrea Glasco both of Cobden, Tracy (Cody) Brown of Maryland Heights, MO, Lauren (Eric) Myers of Cobden; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Gerald (Sue) Glasco of Marion, Gary Glasco of Wolf Lake; sister, Ernestine (Don) Gamble of Rock Spring, WY; sister in law, Opal Glasco of Marion; nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Glasco and sister in law, Ginger Glasco. Keith was a member of the United Missionary Baptist Church for many years. He was a much loved husband, dad and grampy to his entire family. Every person he met has a story to tell about how he touched their life. When he wasn't watching his kids or grand kids rodeo or playing sports, you could find him on his beautiful Southern Illinois farm. He would be working his cattle, riding his ranger checking cattle and fences, watching his ducks or spending time with his wife barb and their dog Hash. Funeral services for Mr. Keith D. Glasco will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Paul Tirey officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2017 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to the United Missionary Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
