Kay Whitney

Kay Whitney, age 70 of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in the Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born July 21, 1947 in Anna, the daughter of Elbert and Verneal (Jordan) Hileman. She married Cecil Ray Whitney in 1967 in Union County, he preceded her in death. Kay is survived by her children, Sandra D. (Matthew) Dare of Jonesboro, Chuck (Melissa) Whitney of Jackson, MO, Thomas J. (Beth) Whitney of Jonesboro; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers and three sisters. Kay was a member of the Mill Creek Lutheran Church. Visitation service will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Saturday, May 26, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Johns Cemetery.
