Kay Mcraven

Kay McRaven, age 76 of Anna, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at her home. She was born February 4, 1944 in Anna, the daughter of George Franklin and Magdalene Elizabeth (Holshouser) Whiteside. She married Allen McRaven on March 9, 1973 in Johnson County. She is survived by her husband, Allen McRaven; siblings, Janet (Wayne) Mears of Anna, Janice (Curt) Shannon of Jonesboro, and Wayne (Doris) Whiteside of Anna; many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and step son, Keith McRaven Kay was an advocate and volunteer for PAST Historical Society and St. Anne's Church in Anna as well as many other organizations. She also volunteered at the Union County Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 1, 2021 in the Jonesboro Cemetery with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Everyone attending will be required to wear a face covering and observe social distancing guidelines. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
