Kathryn was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro. She loved the Lord and enjoyed serving her community by cooking meals for the church. She worked at the Jonesboro Grade School for over 35 years, and during that time, became very close with her work family. Whether at the school or at church, she made friends everywhere she went. Kathryn maintained a close-knit group of friends that she looked forward to playing bridge and catching up with. Kathryn was known to have a green thumb and loved plants. She enjoyed landscaping and would order special plants that caught her interest, even importing some she couldn’t buy at the store. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Nana.”
