Kathryn L. Fox, age 49 of Cobden, died Sunday, February 24, 2019 in her home. She was born February 17, 1970 in Carbondale, the daughter of James Rollin and Mary Louise (Musgrave) Fox. Kathryn is survived by her father, James Rollin Fox of Cobden; son, Heath Hewitt of Cobden; life partner Tony Skaja of Cobden; stepson, Jacob Skaja of Cobden; two sisters, Karen Fox of Anna and Karla Fox of Cobden; brother-in-law, Jay Randolph; two cousins she considered her brother and sister, Bill Musgrave of Jonesboro and Christina Musgrave of Tennessee; nieces and nephews, Adria (Joseph) Ford, Alyssa Randolph, Christian Randolph, Forrest Harvel, Elvis Muniz, Daniel Muniz, Raleigh Ford, Rider Ford, Noah Fox, Aurora Randolph; best friends, Janet Dale, and Dorothy Dangbar; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, and one brother, Daniel Fox. Kathryn was a dedicated mother, daughter, and sister. She loved her son more than anything, and she was very active in his school activities in Cobden. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Pastor Darryl Williams officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Cobden.
