Katherine Christine Turner

Katherine C. Turner, age 83 of Anna, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at her residence. She was born March 14, 1936 in Cobden, the daughter of Burt John and Nora Ellen (Griddings) Hill. She married Carroll S. Turner on May 31, 1958 in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2007. Katherine is survived by her sons; Carroll Gene Turner, Steve Turner, Larry Turner, Daryl Turner, daughters; Wilma Turner, Patricia (James) Williams, Kathleen Bailey, sister; Betsy Upton, forty-five grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, husband Carroll S. Turner, sons; Johnny Turner and Ricky Turner, brothers; Charles and Don Hill, and sister Lula Dickerson. Katherine was a member of the Lockard Chapel Baptist Church. Katherine loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. She loved spending time with her family. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2019 in the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Enloe Clemons officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2019 in the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
