Katherine A. Swink

Mrs. Katherine A. Swink, age 72 of Anna, died at 2:05 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2016 at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born on May 3, 1944 in Anna the daughter of Alvin and Florence Young. She married Mitchell Swink, he preceded her in death April 1, 1988. Katherine is survived by her son, Mitchell Swink of Anna and daughter, Tracy (Jesse) Koehler of Cocoa Beach, FL; step-dughter, teresa (Berry) waddington of Murphysboro; seven grandchildren, Micki Jo Woods, Brett Mitchell Swink, Molly Swink, Makayla Swink, Ashley Koehler, Jessica Koehler and Autumn Koehler; two great grandchildren, Sophia Woods and Timothy Hicks; one sister, Patricia Wagner of Anna, one brother, Michael Davidson of Jonesboro, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Katherine retired from Florsheim Shoe and went on to work at Anna City Care Center as a cook. Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine A. Swink will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 27, 2016 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
