Karen (Bowie) Treece

Karen Treece, age 73 of Anna, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born April 18, 1952 in Portland Mane, the daughter of Ralph and Ina Mae (Russell) Bowie. She married Larry Treece on July 6, 1984 at  Kornthal Church in Jonesboro.

Karen is survived by her loving husband, Larry Treece of Anna; son Joshua (Kellie) Treece; two grandchildren, Claire and Caden Treece; siblings, Denis Bowie, Blaine Longley, and Charles Longley; other extended relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Bowie; mother and stepfather, Ina Mae and Russell Longley; daughter, Melissa (McLaird) Kinder; and brother, Robert Longley.

Karen was the medical records supervisor for the Fellowship House in Anna for thirty-four years. She graduated in 1970 from Waterville High School. Karen will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
