June M. Osman

Mrs. June M. Osman, age 83, of Anna, died at 10:39 A.M. Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. She was born June 27, 1927 in Anna, the daughter of Walter and Lela Jerrell Bartruff. She married Olen O. Osman on October 31, 1946 in Little Rock, AR. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1989.June is survived by three nieces, Linda (Edward) Boyd of Sikeston, Joyce Bartruff of Anna, and Sharon (Phil) Hileman of Jonesboro; two nephews, Terry (Brenda) Bartruff of Anna, and Bryan (Kim) Bartruff of Jonesboro; great nieces and nephews; two sisters in law, Joan Bartruff and Florence Bartruff both of Anna; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Olen; and three brothers, Wayne, Belmont and Harold Bartruff. June was a member of the Jonesboro United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Cobden Lion's Club and the Red Hats Society. June worked for the Anna National Bank for many years and later retired from the University of Illinois Extension Service office in Anna. Funeral Services for Mrs. June M. Osman will be at 1:00 P. M. Monday, September 20, 2010 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Bob Fear officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 A. M. and until the funeral hour on Monday, September 20, 2010 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
