Judy Ann Theis

Judy Ann Theis, age 75 of Anna, died Saturday, September 28, 2019 in St. Louis University Hospital. She was born April 15, 1944 in Union County the daughter of Lynn and Mildred (Bloodworth) Shepard. She married Norman Frank Theis on December 27, 1963. He preceded her in death on September 29, 2009. Judy is survived by her loving children, Carla (Marshall) Ramage and Frank D. Theis all of Anna; three grandchildren; Jessica (Jason) Elkins, Abigail Barlow and Clayton Ramage; siblings, Conrad (Glenda) Shepard of Jonesboro, Nancy Sadler of Trenton, Kathryn (Jerry) Charles of Whitesville, KY, Grace Emily (Terry) Wiseman of Dongola, Jack (Nina) Shepard of Ullin and Wanda Carolyn (Joe) Ames of Dongola; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman Frank Theis; son in law, Greg Barlow; and infant sister, Patricia Shepard. Judy was a faithful member of the Anna Church of the Nazarene. She worked for Florsheim Shoe Company, IGA in the deli and as a Telephone Operator for GTE. Judy enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and gardening. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the Anna Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Randy Wright officiating. Interment will be in the Big Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna and after 10:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Anna Church of the Nazarene. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church.
