Judy Stegle

    Judy Kay Stegle, age 73 of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026. Judy was a loving mother, wife, maw maw, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend to so many. Her greatest joy was to have her house full of family. Judy was born April 22, 1953 in Anna, IL to Wilma and Alan Morris. Judy has one surviving sister that she loved dearly, Jane Goins. Judy married Mike Stegle on September 3, 1983.

    Mike and Judy have four children; Codie (Justin) Carver, Jodie Stewart, Cortnie Stewart, and Josh (Ashlee) Stegle. She also had 7 grandchildren; Alan Mikel Stewart, Carsen (Reid) Morrison, Taylor Peterson, Ethan Carver, Blake Dillow, Kylie Dillow and Caroline Stegle. She also loved her 5 great grandchildren; Emme Stewart, Jace Campbell, Jude Hurtado, Brooks Stewart and Bowie Belcher. She was a loving aunt who cherished her nieces and nephew; Tracey (Tom) Smith, Kim (David) Prater, Leigh Burns, Daniel (Mandy) Page and Jama (Robert) Batson. As well as her 8 great nieces and nephews; Torie (Ryan: son Hudson) Carter, Tommie (Curt: sons Liam Brazil and Blaine) Goines, Colby (Sarah: daughters Baya and Elly) Burns, Trey (daughter: Aubrey) Burns, Mahala (Dawson: children Finley, Riggins, and Everly Jane) Montfort, Noah (Katy: daughters Myla and Ivey) Prater, Avery Page (Aaron Lence: daughter Saylor) and Drew Page. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law, Karen (Claude: sons Travis and Michael) Sadler, Kathy (daughter Katie Rumfelt) Stegle and nephew Jason (Abbie: children Avery and Fletcher) Stegle. In addition to her family, she leaves behind cherished friends; Barb Casper, Jody Boner, Sherma Boner, Nita McGrath, Teri Burd, Cheryl Stamp, Karen Boyd, Felicia Morse, Sharon Hileman, Patty Harvey, Juvata Carter, Sherilyn Baker, Janet Dunville, Becky Fisher and so many more! 

    Judy was preceded in death by her parents Alan ‘Sox’ Morris and Wilma ‘Meme’ Morris, granddaughter Kate Stegle, brother-in-law James Stegle, brother-in-law Glen Goins, great nephew Caleb Burns, Eric Baker, Betty Stegle, Joe Morris, Dan Morris and Stacy Bennett.

    Funeral services for Judy Stegle will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Lonnie Lewis and Matt Crain officiating. Interment will follow in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am until the service time at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 28, 2026 at the funeral home.
