Judith A. (Gibbons) Pitts

Judy A. Pitts, age 79 of Wolf Lake, died Thursday, December 4, 2025. She was born October 24, 1946 in Cobden, the daughter of Ernest and Mildred L. (Newberry) Gibbons. She married Gerald Wayne Pitts on December 19, 1987, in Paducah, KY.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Pitts of Wolf Lake; son, Scot and wife Johnna Russell of Grand Tower; daughter, Tammy and husband Steve Hunott of Dexter, MO; three stepchildren, Kent and wife Nancy Pitts of Cobden, Wes and Melanie Pitts of Wolf Lake, and Teresa and Tony Guy of Ava; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Dan and wife Beverly Gibbons; nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sharon Dover.

Judy worked for 32 years at Choate Mental Health until her retirement. Judy enjoyed fishing, singing and spending time with her family.

Graveside funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Casper Cemetery in Anna. Interment will follow. Visitation is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2025 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
