Mrs. Juanita E. Emery, age 84 of Cobden, died at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born July 19, 1927 in Cobden, the daughter of Charles Edward and Eva Dunn Ingram. She married Glen N. Emery on May 18, 1945 in Anna. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1993.Juanita is survived by one son, Alan (Carolyn) Emery of Overland Park, Kansas; three daughters, Linda (Rick) Rogers of Paducah, Kentucky, Cheryl (Charlie) Stewart of Cobden, Patricia (John) Baracy of Scottsdale, Arizona; seven grandchildren, Chad (Stacey) Westbrooks, Ryan Westbrooks, Travis Stewart, Tara (Rusty) Marks, Jill (Terry) Brenner, Paul (Andrea) Craft, Todd Rumble; twelve great grandchildren; other relatives and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen; one brother, Charles S. Ingram; and one nephew, David A. Ingram. Juanita was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cobden for many years. She retired from Choate Mental Health as a Technician in 1987.Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita E. Emery will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carmi Baptist Children's Home.
