Josephine Esther Mueller

Mrs. Josephine Esther Mueller, age 99 of Anna, died at 7:35 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2014 in the Jonesboro Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born August 15, 1915 in Union County, the daughter of John and Clara Huppert Duschl. Josephine is survived by her grandson, Bob (Mary) Hileman of Portgage, IN; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Sarah Boyd; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Louise Woodard and Rosemary Crowell; brothers, Elmer, Leon, and Otto Duschl. Josephine was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Anna and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was retired from Jo-An Laundry in Anna after 20 years of service. Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Esther Mueller will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Tim Weiser officiating. Interment will be in the Tower Grove Cemetery in Murphysboro. Friends may call after 9:00 and until the service hour at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church or the Donor's Choice. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
