Jose Garcia

Jose Garcia, age 79 of Cobden, died Monday, April 27, 2020 at his home. He was born on May 8, 1940 in Mexico, the son of Carmelo and Socorro (Gomez) Garcia. He married Beatriz Garcia in spring of 1963. Jose is survived by his wife, Beatriz Garcia; children, Jose (Venilda) Garcia of Texas, Ray Garcia, Connie (Angel) Flores, Maria (Charli) Braden, Idalia (Miguel) Carmona, Raquel (Ruben) Guzman all of Cobden, and Emmanuel (Kimberly) Garcia of Anna; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; 2 brothers; 6 sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jose enjoyed carpentry and he loved being outdoors. He was a loving father and enjoyed spending time with his family.
