Jonathan "John" Kraatz

Mr. Jonathan "John" Kraatz, age 66 of Anna, died at 12:55 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 at his home. He was born April 8, 1950 in Anna, the son of Harold and Charlotte (Holcomb) Kraatz. John is survived by his father, Harold Kraatz of Anna; brother, Paul (Diane) Kraatz of Jonesboro; niece, Paula (Aaron) Stover of Lick Creek; nephew, Cody (Kim) Kraatz of Makanda; great-nieces and nephews, Kaylee, Kenzie, Kaleb and Tyler; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother. John was recently saved through the Baptist Church. He was a longtime member of the Dongola Fire Department. He worked for Cellular One, Roy Walker Communications and was an avid Ham Radio operator. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Jonathan "John" Kraatz will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the Anna City Cemetery with Rev. LaRue Parr officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dongola Fire Department. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home and at the cemetery.
