Johnnie Foster Sr.

Johnnie Foster Sr., age 76 of Anna, died Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at the Union County Hospital. He was born July 24, 1945 in Perks, the son of Walter and Aileen (Chesney) Foster. He married Carolyn Davis on April 15, 1995 in Union County. Johnnie is survived by his wife, Carolyn Foster of Anna; children, John Foster Jr. of Mounds and Jennifer Renae Foster of Anna; step-daughter, Crystal Sue Shepard of Cape Girardeau, MO; grandchildren, Trae Foster, Olivia Foster, Jonathon Foster; step-grandchild, Pierce Shepard; great-grandchild, Reiss Foster; siblings, Anna, Shirley, Dorothy and Holly; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Michelle Renee Foster; siblings, Mary Lou, Mary Ann, Rosemary, and Dewey. Johnnie enjoyed fishing and cooking. He loved antiques, and as a kid he liked to race go carts. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022 at St. Johns Cemetery in Dongola. Interment will immediately follow. All those attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
