John Carroll Chaffin, Jr., 38 of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 in Jonesboro. He was born on February 23, 1982 in Covina, CA to John C. Chaffin, Sr. and Dianne L. (MacLeod) Chaffin.John is survived by his parents, John and Diane Chaffin of Jonesboro; 1 son, Parker Allen Chaffin; 3 sisters, Brandice Downs of Ft. Worth, TX, Juliane Chaffin of Azle, TX and Jeanine Madrid of Saginaw, TX; other relatives and friends.He had worked as a restaurant cook. John enjoyed cooking, hunting and fishing.The family of John Carroll Chaffin, Jr. will host a private memorial service at a later date.Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.
