John F. Berry Sr.

John F. Berry Sr., age 70 of Anna, died Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Union County Hospital. He was born January 13, 1951 in Cobden, the son of Delmar and Vesta (Davis) Berry. He married Brenda Poole on August 1, 1969 in Alto Pass. John is survived by his wife, Brenda Berry of Anna; son, Johnny (Eileen) Berry Jr. of Ullin; daughter, Bobbie Jo (Stephen) Lipe of Dongola; grandchildren, Colby, Jacob, and Samuel Lipe, and Skylar Tubbs; sisters, Kathleen Trexler, Rita Trexler, and Patricia Peshoff; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Tom Berry, Timmy Berry, and Ruby Coffman. John enjoyed riding his Harley and shooting his guns. He loved horses and camping. He was a member of the Union County Saddle Club and every year he and his daughter, Bobbie would do a nine-day trail ride and camp. He enjoyed taking boat rides with his wife. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Clint Nale officiating. Interment will be in the Friendship Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
