John Belcher

Mr. John Belcher age 69 of Anna, died at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at his home in Anna. He was born July 4, 1942 in Anna, the son of Willis L. and Marie E. Tinckham Belcher. He married Susan E. Coffman on February 23, 1963 in Anna. John is survived by his wife, Susan Belcher of Anna; four children, Amy E. (Dennis) Linsin of Wellington, Florida, Abby Belcher of Marion, Wade C. (Sherry) Belcher of Anna, and John D. Belcher of Anna; eleven grandchildren, Juliana, Lia, Elena, Jonas and Lucas de Affouseca, Kristina, Sarah, Jake and Joel Hardin, Nathan and Reese Belcher; one sister, Wanda (Rick) Dillow of Anna; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. John was a member of the Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna. He was also a member of IBEW Local 702 and the Fraternal order of Elks. He was a 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite Ainad Temple of Shriners. John was an Electrical Contractor, owning and operating Belcher Electric in Anna for many years. Funeral services for Mr. John Belcher will be at 4:00 pm, Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna with the Pastor Kathy Montira and Pastor Chris Erdmann officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna or the Shriners Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna and at the church.
