Joann Cooley

Mrs. JoAnn Cooley, age 79 of Anna, died at 10:44 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014 in the Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, MO. She was born October 15, 1934 in Jonesboro, the daughter of John Edward and Ina Louise Cozby Tygett. She married Lowell E. Cooley on February 19, 1954 in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on August 27, 2010. JoAnn is survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lowell E. Cooley; daughter, JoEllen Cunningham; and two brothers, Jim and Gene Tygett. JoAnn was of the Baptist Faith. She retired after 34 years as a teacher at Lincoln Elementary School in Anna. Funeral services for Mrs. JoAnn Cooley will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
