"Jimbo" James William Ivan Rowan

James William "Jimbo" Ivan Rowan, age 47 of Dongola, died Thursday, December 30, 2021 at his home. He was born July 20, 1974 in Hammon, IN, the son of James William and Betty Joanne (Baggett) Rowan. Jimbo was an over the road truck driver. He loved fishing and working on model trains. He was a great father and a good friend to all. Jimbo is survived by his children, Ethan Cole (Sierra) Rowan of Perks and Mckenzy Rowan of Dongola; mother, Betty Rowan of Dongola; siblings, Anita Elliot of Dongola, Joseph Rowan of Jonesboro and Roger Rowan of Anna; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Jeanne Dalton. A memorial service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the Dongola Community Center.
