Jesse Leon Manus

Mr. Jesse Leon Manus, age 82 of Anna, died at 5:55 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at his home in Anna. He was born April 20, 1931 in Union County, the son of Jesse C. and Grace Vancil Manus. He married Leota L. Landis on December 19, 2009. Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Leota L. Manus of Anna; daughters, Deborah (Dennis) Ryan of Round Oak Park, IL, Barbara (Michael) Ryan of West Bend, WI; step children, Carlena (Loyd) Thompson of Anna, Harold (Sharon) Wright of Wisconsin Dells, WI, Terry (Mickey) Wright of Anna, Bruce (Susan) Wright of Fallston, MD, Phillip Wright of Algonquin, IL; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Lou (Ivis) Wright of Anna; nieces; great nieces; great nephews; cousins, friends and church family. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Kevin Ryan and nephew, Alfred Craft. Jesse was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church in Anna. He came to the saving Grace of Jesus as a teenager. He moved to Dixon, IL as a young man and spent his adult life there, in 2009 he moved back to Union County. Jesse was a member of the Union Masonic Lodge 627. Funeral services for Mr. Jesse Leon Manus will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment will be in the Trinity Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the service hour at 2:00 pm. Thursday, March 6, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Masonic rites will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Cemetery or the Big Creek Baptist Church.
