Jerry Lane Williamson

Mr. Jerry Lane Williamson, age 84 of Olmstead, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Jonesboro Rehab & Healthcare Center. He was born on April 29, 1929 in Cambria, IL, the son of Samuel and Thelma (Johns) Williamson. He married Maxine Varnum Hankla on January 3, 1981 in Saco, Maine. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Maxine of Olmstead; one daughter, Laurie Batignani of East Windsor, CT; one son, Steven Williamson of East Windsor, CT; Maxine's children: two sons, Jefferson Hankla of Carbondale, Gordon Hankla of Anna and one daughter Susan (Mark) Corey of Clinton township, MI; two grandchildren, Megan and Lindsey Corey; other relatives and many friends. Jerry was preceded in death by one son, Jon Williamson; a sister, Dr. Patricia Mayer and his parents, Samuel and Thelma Williamson. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He earned a master's degree in engineering. He held many executive positions with several companies over the years. Following Jerry's final wishes he was cremated and private services will be held at a later date.
